ok so i searched around a bit for tint shops near miami, but didnt find a thing! do any of you know any GOOD places around the hialeah area or relatively close(im willing to drive a bit for a GOOD tint)to here?

 

gables tinting is pretty good....right next door to duffy's tavern in between 8th and coral way on 57th ave....theres a place in S. miami by sunset place called solar tint that use a laser to cut the tint so they come out perfect but they are pretty pricey.....

 

^^ u mean calle ocho(SW 8th ST) right? if it is i should be able to find it easy cuz i work at a CVS there.

 

anyone else from the south florida area know any other top notch tint shops?

 

My experiences:
JR Electronics located on Bird road and near 97th: People are always packed, great flawless work, but I have had 2 situations where they put the wrong percentage tints on the windows. My sister had her G sedan done from them and told them 20% but they ended up putting the 5% limo. I had my front windshield tinted from them and I had told them to put 55% but they put 35% instead.

Senor Stereo located on US1 near 152 st.
They offer a more variety of tints (metallic, nonmetallic, 3M) and slightly diff. percentages. Instead of the 20% that JR elec. sells, they sell 16% and instead of the 5% it's 7% or something like that. I had them remove my front windshield tint b/c it was interferring w/ my radar detector. They did a great job and my friend had his car tinted from them and it came out flawless also.

Both of these people use metallic tints so they don't fade into the purple grainy film after a few years. Senor stereo gives a 2-3 months warranty on their tints b/c they say that if anything is going to happen to the tints it will happen within the first few months. JR gives a lifetime warranty.
When I wrote above about the "flawless" work, I meant no bubbles, no scratches, and the tint on the side windows goes all the way to the edge of the glass. Also, don't forget to tell them if you want them to cut out a square for your 3rd brake light. Some people like the cutout and some don't.

 

solar tint uses a computer to cut out the tint specific to ur vehicle so its perfect. the one by sunset place, i think the owners name is robert. theres also another one on 137th ave across from the new lexus dealership but thats a little south for you.

 

yo, i got my car tinted at AUDIOTRIXX in Pompano, my G35 sedan looks sweet, and it only took like a hour or so. its just alittle north of sample on dixie. CHeck them out on my cardomain site if you want info, let me know
