dead battery...

So all day yesterday there was a delay in the starting of my car...than later that night it didnt start at all, so i got jumped by my brother. So Im hoping that its just that i need a new battery, so im going for an Optima, but not sure which color to get. Isnt the red the lowest one, and will get the job done?

Now how do I switch them out, just unplugg the negative, than positive, than take off teh bracket...done? help lol

take it to autozone or sears and have them check everything for free before you start switching stuff.

You need the Optima with the positive terminal on the left side of the car. Manu have the positive terminal on the wrong side.

man...i went to napa, than sears...no optima...than i went to pepboys...and well...optimas are 200bucks!? i couldnt get myself to pay that much for a battery...call me a cheap *** lol. i ended up getting a Bosch for about 90bucks, and felt better about my buy lol. installation was fairly simple, just had to get all the plastic out of the way. cranked it up with no delay...such a beautiful sound and i can take back my old battery for 10 bucks, so overall was about 80ish, and took about 10-15 minutes to install...no more pooping out in a parking lot lol...thanks for all the info guys, and those running Optimas...****in ballers
