So is there anyone that's going to be hanging around Clearwater after the Lokey meet?

I'd like to get a bunch of people together and get the normal lunch/dinner after Lokey at Hooter's...about 5 minutes from Lokey. But what I really want to do is get a cruise organized. A little late...but that's me.

The cruise would take about 1 hour 15 mins...about a 35 mile drive. It would consist of leaving Hooters and driving down Gulf to Bay Blvd. to Clearwater Beach. Cruise Guld Blvd on the beack to Park Blvd. Take Park Blvd to 49th street and then cruise over the Bayside Bridge and finally end back at Hooters.






Any takers?

 

Sounds fun...I'll check with the wife to see if she has anything already planned for us for after Lokey.

Isn't there some construction on Gulf Blvd on Clearwater Beach right now? I seem to remember reading that some of the beach businesses were upset because the construction was re-routing their traffic and taking their parking spaces...Maybe it's finished now?

 

My brother will be in the hospital recovering from surgery, so I probably will head back home after the meet is over.

 

what about a trip to Mons Venus? I heard that place was legendary for their "entertainment."

mons sucks. odyssey is only better because of 1 waitress.

I've never been to either; I just remember stories about Mons....from about 15 years ago.

Yes, there is construction going on on Gulf Blvd. on Clearwater Beach. It's only for about 2 miles, so we will be in the clear after that.

The Hooter's does suck, but it's the closest boobie food place around.
