It's always a question to me that what does the by pass do? and what if you didn't install it when you install the plenum spacer?

u can install it without a spacer. my friend recently installed a spacer from altered atmosphere without it. not sure if u saw this but here is an explanation for it:

Our cars have coolant running to the throttle body to warm it up.... this gets rid of that loop.
