Ever been sideswiped?

Got hit yesterday while driving to work. I live by a college apartment complex and some fool decided to take it upon himself to not look both ways at the stop sign and hit into my driver's side door while leaving his complex as I was driving straight on the road. I'm okay, but driver's side door and rear panel will need to be fixed/buffed/dents pushed out. ****ing sucks.

That sucks Ian! I got hit much the same way in my Trans Am. I don't know how hard he hit you, but my car was never the same. Hopefully yours is mostly cosmetic.

Wow, Ian. I'm glad you weren't hurt. The kid stopped, didn't he? Time for a body kit.

bummer, sorry to hear. happened to me a long time ago. probably too late now, but you need to get witnesses on the scene to verify who ran the stop sign.

The other guy's at fault. He did stop after he hit me. I took one look at my car as soon as I got out I wanted to jiu jitsu choke the guy to death. The only excuse he could give me was, "sorry dude! I didn't see you." I retorted, "you didn't see me and you were at a stop sign (which he obviously ignored) on a hill? Give me an F'in break."

What's done is done. I already filed claim with mine and the guy's insurance. I go to Courtesy Collision center on colonial for them to assess damages and write a quote.

Can anyone recommend good bodyshop in Orlando area? I'm thinking about going back to All Fleet Services/Richard Mais shop if he's still there...
