I think I remember...he scammed someone out of state and we actually ended up kicking him out of the Florida G35 Club so he could not represent our club in any way.

Based on your comments and his trader ratings, it sounds like he's had successful transactions before. That's why I didn't want to immediately jump to conclusions. As of right now, I'm still hoping there's some explanation for it, but either way I had to file a claim...

I haven't been on much so it took me a while to see this, but this is what I have to say.

If you look at his ratings I gave him a negative rating. I bought a set of OEM 19s from him which he claimed were flawless (and the photos he posted "looked" like they were) but when I got them 3 out of 4 rims were scuffed and one didn't even have a center cap. I brought this to his attention and we settled that he'd reimburse me some money. That was pretty much the last time I heard from him. He never sent money nor replied to PM's or emails.

How is it working out with PayPal? You should have your money back by now.

I filed a claim with my cc company directly, not Paypal. They are still "investigating." Basically they need to wait 30 days until the expected date of delivery, before they will credit my account. THAT is lame...

So if your cc gives you your money back...they pull the money back from him too?

If they find it fraudulent.they will but if he pulls the money out of his paypal account then nothing will happen but a lock on his paypal untill he puts the money back in the account.

Just to update those that might care. My cc co. finally refunded my money after 30 days as promised. Hopefully they're pursuing this guy on their own now. I would think so, since it was fairly a large amount, not just a $60 tank of gas or something.
