I Paypal'ed the seller, Blackedout05G35, for a set of Volk GT-S wheels first thing Tuesday 9/18 morning. Apparently he was selling this set for his brother, with the silver Z shown in pics in the FS thread.

Paypal payment went to a Jenn Castro who said he/she is from Florida. No response whatsoever in the FS thread, or to my direct attempts at contact. Haven't heard back in 3 days after sending 3 PM's and 3 emails.

I'm getting really worried now, but have been trying to give the benefit of the doubt before filing a claim. Hoping somebody in FL can help me out. Does anybody know this forum member? Thanks in advance!

hmm.. cant say i know him. file a dispute with paypal. they will take care of it.

 

I will if I have to. Just don't want to jump the gun, you know? Want to make sure I do everything I can to figure it out 1st.

 

File it first, cancel the claim later, you have a limited amt of time to file it so....

 

Trust me, file a claim and get your money back. I have seen this member post several times and he looks to be a scammer. I have heard many other horror stories regarding this member as well. File the claim before it is to late.

 

I agree I would get the ball rolling on the investigation I think that it takes 30 days b4 they will make a judgement in the case

Well, still no contact from Blackedout05G35.

I went ahead and filed a claim with my cc co. today. I think I was pretty patient after waiting 7 days for a response. They won't be able to close this investigation until at least 30 days after the date of purchase. Sucks...I was really looking forward to getting these wheels, too!

 

Ruh roh... I think I have seen someone else post before that this guy is a scammer. Hopefully, everything works out.

if he is a scammer, why can't we just ban him from the website all together? (can we) ban his SN and his IP addy

After selling the g I cant stop reading all the posts on here! I actually bought a cell phone in person from this guy. About a year ago. That sucks your not getting your wheels. He seemed like a decent guy.
