Looking for opinion on powder coating

Just looking to get some opinions on what type of powder coating I should get. I currently have 18" stock rims and thanks to the lovely detailers I now have beautiful stains on them. For the time being until I save and get the rims I really want and not settle, I am thinking about powder coating them (got a great price).

My question is which do you think would look better on an OB Coupe

Flat Black or Black with a clear coat?

i would say save your $, but if the price is great then go with gloss black for ob. if it was any other color, id say flat but gloss matches your paint so much better. theres a couple guys on here with that combo if you look around.

I wouldn't do it on a lease car, or any car for that matter. Stock rims are stock rims, regardless of color.

I think its a good idea. If you dont have the $$$ for upgraded wheels like most of us here than thats a cool option. I have seen a couple G coups with the stock wheels powdercoated and it didnt look bad, i would go with a flat black

I say leave them like how they are or if you want to fix them, just repaint them the same color. That way, when you get new rims, you can sell your stock rims for a lot more than you will be able to when their painted another color. In my opinion, I don't think stock oem rims are worth powder coating.

For stock rims, I'd polish out the face and leave the inners painted. Seen it done and it looks off the hook. Otherwise between the options above I'd go with the gloss black
