Suspension Question Guys....

Im about to buy a g35 coupe. Is it normal for the front tires to have un even tire wear. The person I am buying them from says its normal in g35's. Should I be concerned?

Thanks

PS: vehicle has factory suspension and wheels

2 questions:

1. How bad is the wear? on the inside or outside of tire?

2. Did the previous owner have an aftermarket suspension and then just put it back to stock to sell?? If this is the case his allignment may have been off.

but no, that is not normal

It depends on the wear pattern. Some inside tire wear is normal for some cars. It can be remedied with camber kits.

can see noticible difference/its on the inside..he says you would most likely need to change the tires every 16k. this is only for the front tires the rears have no problem. he is the only owner and states has never had an aftermarket part installed.

thats a little on the bad side but i wouldnt use that as a reason not to buy the car. that can be fixed by first getting alignment and if that still doesnt help get a front camber kit and your problem is solved
