+1. there are stories with every brand. if sevas really had that many problems, they would not be as popular on this site. they offer great looking wheels at much less than "must have" brands like volk and work. i say get them!

well guys, i have looked around and called other venders for pricing...you know, the ussually shopping around when spending alot of cash....

I just called for price quotes, nothing else, and 2 of them told me something interesting....that the wheels have issues with them cracking, and that the manufacturer is aware and re-designing or something. I had 1 vender say they aren't selling them until issues are resolved, and one vender had them in stock until they sold their last remaining stock.

Got all worked up for nothing - id rather spend more money (even if its double) and get something WORTH it, then low ball the car and have an issue later on.

I have them and have no cracking at all. That said, and I have the 19" S-Stars, I did bend the front two on a minor off-road excursion (since replaced and in my garage. I wouldn't have expected them to bend, but they did, though cosmetically they look fine until you spin them and see the wobble.

Anyway, I've had 18" Enkeis and Focals bend on my Acura in the past. I'm with most people in that any wheel can bend, it's just odd when they do. PS: My Sevas have been on the car for 18 months. Also, their personal Customer Service sucked and my tire guy had to track them down from other vendors piece-meal...Getting them was a real pain, but d@mn do they look good...

thanks bro. Has anyone ever dealt with this company (guy) before?
I never used ebay before. Kinda nervous about buying things on ebay. I don't want to end up with tires that have cracks or holes in them.
I found these for 625

My wife and I buy and sell lots of stuff on there. The rule of thumb is that you should stick to people with high trader ratings where you can see their feedback. If you pay with a credit card, even better, for the extra protection your card can give...

I hit a rock that was not that big ~45mph with mine. It was in the center of the wheel and just crushed it. They are not strong at all because they made them so light. They weigh about the same as a set of forged 20's.

IMO stay away from the S55's. I still have my broken one, it's no an expensive airhose reel.
