JACKSONVILLE, FL -- A woman on her way to a hair appointment accidentally drove through the wall of a beauty salon in Arlington.

The vehicle went into Marie's Hair Designs, in the 7300 block of Merrill Road, just before lunch time Wednesday.

No one was inside the salon at the time of the crash.

Crews have since cleared away the debris and rolled the van out.

The van just missed a day care full of children next door.

The owner told First Coast News a woman who had an appointment at the salon accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake when she pulled up.
