I got me an iTouch for web surfin around the house and while I'm on campus. Def. worth it to have a 300 dollar web browserrrrrrr. google: "Jailbreak iphone".

 

I just got an iphone, it's sick! Def upgrade to 1.1.4 firmware and unlock/jailbreak using Iplus. Here's the link to step by step instructions: http://www.hackthatphone.com/114/iph...k_windows.html

After you do that use the installer to install programs like emulators, apps, etc. I just got some NES games on it, brings back memories. PM me if you need help, it's really easy though. Good luck!

 

can you post some pictures up my fellow black G owner? i havent owned an ipod since the 1st gen nanos, and i got it for 40 bucks cause it was stolen lol. so this is all new to me. i could never get emulators and stuff on my PSP because i didnt understand the firmware stuff. but yea when i get it ill def PM you if i have questions, thank alot.
please post up on pics of the apps you have. plus have you ran into an issues with itunes after you jailbroke it?

 

have any of you guys used independence to activate an iphone? so i can use my t-mobile sim card

I use Ziphone. Its really simple, just go to ziphone.org download it then all you have to do is run the program and you'll have an unlocked and jailbroken iphone/itouch.
