I need a good place to do a normal brake job on my 04 w/ Brembos. If anyone knows someone or a place that does it at a reasonable price please let me know. Anywhere in Seminole, Largo, Clearwater..... Im not looking to spend 1500 bucks on a brake job. Especially when vendors on here can ship me brakes for all 4 corners for $150.

 

What do you consider a brake job?

These brakes are easy to work on yourself if you have a few simple tools.

 

Pads and resurface probably. Ive done a lot of things myself, never have messed with brakes.

 

The pads are very simple. Resurfacing will obviously need a professional, so you just might as well have them do all the work.

 

If you take the rotors off the car, PepBoys will resurface them for $6 each.

 

In most cases, the Brembo rotors do not have enough material present to be resurfaced and still stay above the minimum safe thickness for the life of the newly installed brake pads. The OEM rotors are pricey and we do offer aftermarket performance alternatives to our customers in the Service Department as a less expensive option.
