Today we held the 2008 Lakeland Florida Meet and although the weather played around with us, it was a fun meet. We had 37 cars brave the inclement weather today; making the third annual Lakeland Meet our largest Lakeland Meet so far.

There were so many cars that I had trouble getting all of them in one shot. I tried in this shot, but you can't actually see down to the end of the cars.




Of course some people didn't want their car to get wet, so they parked with us under cover of a nearby bank. Daniel is always a trend setter.


Jose braved the rain with his beautiful IP Coupe. Jose doesn't come to a lot of the meets, but you should check out his G when he does come... It is spectacular.




It was nice to see Sean Gilley, Chuck, and Shermie coming out for the Meet, too. They followed Dan's idea and chose a special parking position.


We had quite a crowd...


Finally somebody noticed I was taking pictures... Cute little guys...


We had a good turnout for the Tampa/St.Pete caravan at the I-4 Exit 10 Wendys. We kind of swamped the place. Good thing we only do this once or twice a year.




A supercharged NSX even joined us... Beautiful car... How cool is that.

I didn't get to take too many pictures between the rain and all the running around today. Hopefully some of you took some pictures today and will post them in this thread.

It was a crazy, wild meet... Just the kind of meet Kevin (LakelandKev) would have loved. Such a shame... I did get to talk to his parents for a few minutes, though. Hopefully he was looking down on us and smiling.

I hope everyone had a fun time and that we can do it again next year!

Great pics jb good to see you. Sucks I couldn't catch up to the Orlando caravan but it was worth going down. Good time nice cars, new setups I haven't seen (the black Optimus G) great honey bbq wings mm mm, sorry I parked like that my Kuruma is gone and my stock front bumper is pretty embarasing so I decided to hide behind that huge truck!

I'm sure Kevin would of loved the turnout....
