Matte/Flat Black Wrap?

I can hear the grumblings already...I need to have my car repainted anyways, due to a really horrible clearbra install a couple of years back (it has only gotten worse). I have tried to remove the clearbra myself, but a small 6 inch area took almost two hours to peel off, not including the time it to to remove the adhesive left behind. The answer to your next question is, I would love to go back to the installer and have them fix it, but they would not even fix it when it was less than a week old (scumbag). After searching the web and G35Driver, the Matte/Flat Black idea peaked my interest, and the area the ClearBra is covering looks matte already. Does anybody know of a company/individual in SoFla (hollyhood) that does this? Or if you guys want to save me a lot of money, does anybody know of someone/shop that can remove an old ClearBra. Lastly, does anybody know a really good detail shop, I have been a bad G owner and have not waxed the G in a few months (got married).

As I mentioned in the first post, I could hear the grumbings. While researching, I have noticed that there are strong opinions on both sides for a Matte/Flat Black G (to Matte or not to Matte???). The picture of the Korean G is what makes me want to do it even more now. I love the Old School "Rat Rods" and think it would be cool to apply that look to a modren car. As far as the heat gun method of removing the ClearBra. The ClearBra is in such bad shape that does not even work. Since the car is black, I have left it outside for a few hours to bake in the sun and that does not work, it just comes off in 1/4 inch pieces (FRIGGIN' PITA) and I burn the hell out of my fingers. Anyword on a shop that can remove the ClearBra and a good detail shop in these parts of the woods? Thanks for all of the input so far.

If you want to make a weekend of it, there's a place in Orlando that can do it. http://wrapthisink.com/ Bring the wife, hit the parks, get wrapped!

There is a rubber wheel that shops use that connects to a drill or roto zip that is made for taking off pin stripes... It works great for stickers and decals and such, It may work on Clear Bra... also you may want to try the window tint removal stuff... Probably the same or similar type glue on the Clear Bra.

Check with a paint shop or a tool truck...

Good Luck!
