North St Augustine is where I live...what is this crap? This is NOT what was shown as the projected path a couple days ago.

 

yeah seriously...2 days ago it was supposed to be about dead when it reached here, now its scheduled to be a category one when it makes its second landfall in florida...right between me and you! im in south jax.

 

It still should be a tropical storm when it hits St. Augustine but when it goes off to the waters and then come back...then it might come back as a hurricane. But then again, they said it was going to strengthen into a hurricane before it hit ft meyers but it never did. good luck guys!

It's one of the few Tropical Storms that actually got stronger as it moved over land. In Melbourne we got tons of rain. I actually got a free day off from work yesterday

I take it you have seen the video of the guy who got thrown into a wall while he was kite surfing during Fay...for those of you who haven't seen it take a look at the link above. It shows what happens when you mix kite surfing with 50+ mph winds. Looks like a heck of a lot of fun until he hit the not so soft immovable object...
