We've had a couple of very successful dual-city drive-away meets (Lakeland and Gainesville) in the last few months, so it seems like a good time to have a local meet at Quaker Steak & Lube. The next Tampa/StPete/Clearwater mini meet will be on Saturday, September 27th at 4pm, at the Clearwater Quaker Steak & Lube.

We'll meet at Quaker Steak & Lube's South end of the parking lot (as usual) around 4:00pm and go inside the restaurant to eat at 5:00pm. That will give us time for everyone to get there and shoot the breeze a bit before we go inside to eat.



For those of you that have never been to Quaker Steak and Lube, it's a great place to meet because they have loads of parking space, good food, and they don't mind if you stand around outside and talk about cars. Here's a Mapquest Link to Quaker Steak and Lube.

It's a time honored tradition that the first post after I announce a meet is to say that they can't make the meet for some reason. I'm glad we got that out of the way...

If you get out of work at 4pm, you can't make it to QS&L by 5pm?

 

Finally it's about time a meet at QS&L is gonna be held on a Saturday (not Sunday) which gives me more time to travel down from Orlando and not worry about work the next day I'll be there!
