The Advance Performance Tire Meet in Tampa turned out to be a super meet on a beautiful day. Mant thanks to Michael Filippello (owner of AP Tire) for putting on the event and even cooking lunch for everyone. Mike also gave a technical presentation on wheels and tires that was very informative. More on that in a bit.

As you can see, we had a great turnout!




AP Tire has a nice alignment rack.


The best part of the meet was Mike's informal tech session on tires and wheels. It was very informative and generated lots of questions from the group. Mike has a tremendous understanding of tires and wheels and was willing to share it with us... He even provided handouts. Great job Mike!


Lots of hot cars as you would expect...




First time I've seen this G37 with the matching rear rotors and calipers... Very nice!!!






OK... I'm not sure what Ed was pointing out the Andre here... I'm sure it was... um... very important...


Had a lot of fun today... I always enjoy shooting the breeze with other car people... Lots of hot cars... Ran into a friend from the QS&L meet that is getting his Laser Red G35 Coupe turbocharged at S&R... Can't wait to see that...

I'm glad everyone came out for the meet... Sorry the rest of you missed it...

I had my alignment done there a couple of months before i left, also had them raise my colis at the same time. michael is a real standup guy and it was great every time i dealt with him.
