Sold the G yesterday...
Yup, it's true. I've been contemplating it for a few months now. A friend of mine really liked the car and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
I feel like I did enough to the car to like it, but I really couldn't make it a "custom" car without dumping tons of money into it. Didn't want to go F/I, I'm not looking to go fast. I want something that is custom, that will stick out driving down the road. My car only stuck out to those who know about G's and how they come stock. I could have done different rims, lowered a little more, and then paint, but with 106,000 miles, it was time to let it go. Also, I'm looking for a vehicle with a little more room.
I have some miscellaneous parts left over that I will be selling. I took the coupe seats out of it, because my friend said he liked the comfort of the sedan seats instead of the sporty coupe seats. I drove it with the sedan seat back in it, and I must say, I like the coupe seats better... 100% better. They will be for sale to someone local (FL or GA). I have the coupe rear seats to match as well. (willow/tan)
I'll still be around the forums, and of course for lunches/dinners/meets

She'll be missed...

Not yet... about 2 weeks...
Oh no Nate, say it ain't so! That's too bad to hear but I know exactly what you mean about getting a ride with more room. We're doing the same thing but not selling the G (we're thinking of replacing the tiny Corolla with something else).
Looks like I may be the only sedan owner repping the Hooter's meets in Jax but I hope to get to see you and Bernard around sometime.
