Bait & Switch!!!!!!!
I fell victim to the Ol "Bait & Switch"... I recently went to a well known rim a tire shop in Tampa Florida, I was quoted a very reasonable price for 20" rims and tires, I asked about the Falken 452, they said those will be the tires they will be putting on. Dropped my car off early in the am before going to work. I had my brother pick up my car because I would be getting out of work after this shop in Tampa Florida closed, The Car looked BEAUTIFUL, wheels looked sharp, after taking a closer look, they put Nitto 555 instead of the Falken 452 that were promised, called this shop located in Tampa Florida, the "Owner" told me "the Falken's were in "NATIONAL BACK ORDER" and that the Nitto's were more expensive than the Falken and he had to "EAT THE DIFFRENCE". After doing a little research, the Falken are slightly more expensive than the Nitto WTF!!!!!
They def should have told you about the change before they just put those on....but it seems minor, you might actually like the other tires better.
....And NEVER let someone else go pick your car up from a shop, very bad idea.

Nothing beats the sound quality of the Fk452. As far as back order I think he is pulling your leg where as they are readily available here.
i totally agree...the falkens are always available..sometimes they just have to grab some from the warehouse/storage...did u do any research on the quality of the Nittos? the treadwear is pretty good too..
My bro is a g35 head also, he's been around the block, that's why I had no prob with letting him pick up my car, as for research, I have read that the falkens are better in performance, noise reduction and tread... if anyone has more info on the nitto other than THEY SUCK, plase pass it on...

I would go back and talk to the Dealer.
Possibly he tried to call you... Maybe he couldn't get a hold of you and used the other tires just so he could complete your car in time for you to pick it up.
I would give the Dealer a chance to tell his side of the story.

I was in contact with the shop all through out the day about any changes, like my old bolts didn't fit the new wheels and I had to buy new ones. I spoke to the "owner" the following day and was told the Falkens were in "NATIONAL BACK ORDER" them getting in cantact with me wasn't a problem at all...
When I got my wheels, I was offered Falken 452's and Nitto 555's. The Nittos as the time were more expensive than the Falkens, as the 452's became more and more popular the price per tire went up. To the best of my knowledge the 555's and the 452's are almost identical tires as far as quality and performance. Shouldn't be a problem but if the Nitto's are now a bit cheaper I would go back to the person you bought them off of and ask for a price match.
