The 555s get pretty noisy pretty quickly... i felt as if my T1rs gripped better in wet and dry and t1rs are comparable to the 452s... i would be pretty upset.

To the best of my knowledge the 555's and the 452's are almost identical tires as far as quality and performance. Shouldn't be a problem but if the Nitto's are now a bit cheaper I would go back to the person you bought them off of and ask for a price match.
+1

i just recently spoke to my tire hookup guy and he basically said the same thing. i wouldn't worry too much.

even if they are not very different tires ..

they are still not what you ordered ..

and they should have called you to let you know they didnt have them ....but instead had the others .. not change your order for you ... becuase they had those in stock .

no matter what ..

id make sure to let them know thats not how you do buisness ..

you should post exactly who they are ..and where they are located ..
no one should have to deal with that kind of buisness .

reguardless of what other tires they gave you instead ...

thats shady...were u charged the same as falkens for the nittos?

i would actually go back, but then again, u drove on them, left the shop..etc. let alone ur brother didnt check the tires (brand) before he left.. are u driving on them right now? adding miles to the tires? the longer u keep driving on them, the more "shady" they might get on u about replacing them..if they're a good shop. they should work something out

i agree, try to get the owners side of it, or make an appt to talk to the guy. so ur serious about the situation

If u ordered falkens, then thats what shoulda been on ur ride, cus if u dont like the nittos in a few wks, then ur just blew ur cash on something thats gonna bug u for a year or so..riding on those tires.

if not, then its not worth ur hassle.

I want to thank all you guys for all your feed back on this, I did speak to the "OWNER" and he was the one that told me the Falkens were on "NOTIONAL" back order, if you ain't droppin $10,000 or more in that shop, they feel they can give you whateva they want, this was my third car I took to this shop, 2 with the previous owners, now they are under new management, I know the previous owners wouldn't do me like this, this will be the last time I go to then for anything, even a license plate frame. The car came out great, I'm really happy with the outcome, but I learned my lesson... Just be careful when you go to that shop located on the corner of Himes and Cypress in Tampa Florida...

You got better tires then what you ordered and not cheaper ones and you love how the car turned out but yet you are pissed cause you got a better deal as far as as having to buy new lugs thats a GIVIN when you put aftermarket wheels so there is nothing wrong with that!

and you say that danny would not have done that to you but yet you can ask anyone if they would do business with him and they would say no cause he screwed everyone!

Yeah they were in the wrong about not telling you about the tires but would you have waited to get the falkens NO you would of went with another tire that they could of got YES so I think they thought of you by having tires there so you could have your wheels on!

i didnt say anything about camber nor did i mention anything about tires being chewed up? I was only talking about noise.. I cannot say anything from experience about noise on the 452s but most people on the board here say they are quieter than the T1Rs.

P.S. i was riding stock when i had the 555s on and stock with the 1st set of t1Rs i had on.
