How'd it turn out with your new friends???
#1199
Ohhh ok lol... No worries! Getting out of downtown was the biggest pain ever! And it's sad how people (maybe just the drunk people) have no respect for individuals in wheelchairs. We were trying to get off the elevator and no one seemed to want to get out of our way?? So I had to literally yell that we had to get the F off the elevator
lol
New friends were cool as hell. It sure was random how we met lol! We merged onto the 408 from Goldenrod at the same time, and I was like, oohh, Evo! haha... we were just screwing around with an s2k and a porche (porche seemed uninterested) but we ended up both getting off at the downtown exit and when we stopped they gave me the thumbs up and asked where we were gonna go watch the game... lol... And they bought my beer
Good times!

Wow.. that's awesome. They seemed nice.
I know how you feel though about your friend though. My brother's disabled and uses a cane to walk. He's not as fast and doesn't have as much balance, can't climb stairs really well, etc. One time we went to the Sawgrass Mills mall and couldn't even find a handicapped spot. Then we spotted one and when he went to park there, some lady simply cut him off and jumped out the car in high heels and a purse like nothing. I went to scream after her (and possibly go grab her by the hair.. lol) but my brother put his hand on my arm and said "don't worry about it, we'll just park a little further out, that's all."
Pfft.... I'm telling you, people like that **** me the hell off. Everytime I go out with my brother, I'm just THAT protective of him - he has to keep an eye on ME instead of the other way around. I'd seriously get into trouble if he didn't stop me. lol But it just seems that no one's considerate of anyone else anymore. Bratty people get what they want and there's no retribution. Their parents did that... they gave b*tches like that the world and never said no. It all starts with our kids. My son's first words were "mommy", "dada", "please", "thank you" and "can I". He opens doors for women, children and helps people like my brother. I just wish more people were like that.
