The Off Topic Chill Thread

I didn't already see one in our section here, so I thought I'd start an Off Topic thread for us. That way we can all come here to B.S. and chit chat so we can keep some of the other actual "subjects" thread from getting too off topic and cluttered.

Exactly... we forgot all about April ANYTHING. lol So I figured meh. We needed one for B.S.'ing, rants, etc.

So off topic of course.....

I brought my son in with me to bring your child to work day. I've been working him pretty hard and cracking the whip. Someone said "hey, I think they're supposed to only observe you". I said PFFT! If he's here, he's working. I'm a firm believer in child labor and there aint no Union here - mommy's got LOTS of filing for you to do!

I'm having to go to Mazda today to see if they have any of my nuts in stock for my strut bar. Someone..... actually a few guys.... including ERIC... stripped my last ones this past Sunday trying to get my strut bar off because of the battery location. But its my mechanics fault.. he used power tools to get them b**ches on. They were a PAIN!

How much are you willing to pay me???!! Jk... I hate doing it myself actually. lol

So I just got a call back from Mazda - they said "yeah.. we can't find those nuts you have. I called Mazda USA and they said that your strut bar with those nuts must be aftermarket."

OMG>... the strut bar came with ALL THE DAMN Mazdaspeed Protege models! Its amazing to me to actually think that as rare as these cars are... that at LEAST MAZDA itself would know about the parts for them! I'm so mad. I'll just have to find them myself. Unbelieveable.

Yeah, same with me. Lots of issues here and there. Bad wiring for instance.

But I'll check with the local auto parts place. Because its just rediculus. Mazda wants $4 per nut!
