Sometimes the OEM parts cost as much or more than the aftermarket parts. The 05 headlights should be about the same and since they are an OEM part on an 06, you may be able to get the adjuster to give you the value for the o6 lights. Adjusters sometimes have some leeway with the estimate within reason.
My 04 6MT is for sale at the right price if you want another G.

if the girls insurance is covering it, they have to return your car to its previous state! that means they must pay for your rims and things if they are messed up and the headlight fur sure. my mom use to work in insurance, just be tough with them and gl with everything. glad you are ok...
