Yep got the word it totaled. I'm so sad to loose my cb G. O by the way if you have modded your car in any way and have Hartford Ins. They will only cover it if you list each and every modded part. Sooo it didn't work out in my favor. Let them know...
That's a lot of paperwork. LOL!

I think I would cry if they ever totalled my car (it has nothing BUT aftermarket and custom parts). It's been hit about 3 or 4 times, but thankfully no damage to the frame or engine as of yet *knock on wood*. With only 2500 left of these in the U.S., I'm going to keep repairing it and modding it until they total it out.
I hope things work out for you in some way - things happen for a reason. If my car was totalled, it would probably be God's way of telling me that he doesn't want me to track it and end up in the wall. lol

It's just expensive that way.
But luckily my car comes boosted from factory and alot of the aftermarket parts for my car are almost as expensive as the stockers anyway. So all I have to do is get my guy at the bodyshop to order the aftermarket parts from another dealer other than the actual dealership itself.
It is a good idea to check the pricing for your insurance company for the added coverage though (if they have it as an option) vs how ever much you paid for the actual aftermarket parts. If you paid $300 for an SRI, but your added coverage would be that much a year, I don't see a point to having it covered, but if you bought a turbo kit for $6k, then YES it would be worth the added protection.

FYI- Pretty much ALL insurance companies require itemizing after market parts and paying an additional premium to insure them.
ALWAYS comfirm with your insurance co. so you can make sure you have adequate coverage.
