Go for it Kev. With some quality mods already in place for the 05 G and the well-kept condition of the exterior, who cares what the body color is on the car. The price seems right to me, and you mentioned that you gave him a final number which he's considering. Maybe you should also ask the owner if he can provide you with service records and receipts of the mods purchased for the car. Just an idea to up your advantage as a prospective buyer.

Carfax yes. But OB lives in Ft Lauderdale. And the CB in Wilmington. Not sure which one but I will make my final decision today I think. Pre inspection would be very difficult as we are meeting half way. Both cars have 30,000ish in factory warranty's.
For some reason I knew this would come up and it'd probably be you saying it. lol I like manual and auto - just depends on what your future plans are I'd think. For me, one stick shift is enough. Next car has got to be an automatic. I have enough leg muscles with my damn 3 puck clutch as it is.
I'm never owning another auto car as a daily ever again (I say this now..) I enjoy driving stick
but to each his/her own.. buy the one that you want, not the one that everyone else wants you to have

But with my bad knees and if I ever got hurt, it would be much easier to free up a hand and/or a leg with an automatic than a stick. You gotta think about things like that sometimes. I'm just lucky to almost pay off my "fun" car and have one stick - so the next one can be an auto.
