There be more events at CFRC. They are hosting a big car show in July.It will be a Car show/Drag/dyno and more. I'll post it when I get more info. It opens at 7 tomorrow. I'll be at the ampm right off OBT and Central Florida parkway at 7:30 and leave at 8 to roll in. Cya tomorrow

Well, I guess I got there after everyone was gone... I didn't get on the track until about 10:45 and they were closing at 11 (the website said 12, but whatever). Wow though, what an experience. I've never driven on a track before and it's so hard to break the habits of road-driving... it took me a few laps to get into the mode of driving to the line of the track instead of driving on the right side of the track.

Definitely fun and something I want to get better at... and it gave me a lot of respect for our cars... and my vredestein tires, haha. VDC saved me from a few bad situations, ha.

Hopefully we can all go out again sometime?

Yeah, I figured for my first time out there why not. If I didn't my car would have been a little too close to comfort to a wall a few times last night.

 

I got sideways today with my VDC on I was proud of myself lol just saying that never happens

 

Oh trust me all the fun happens when VDC is off....lol

 

^ I know that, silly. Lenox *almost* had me sideways on video lol. Just saying it happened.

 

Sounds like you guys had a fun time...

Let's not forget that some drivers aren't as experienced at racing around tracks as others... What's good for you might not be good for them... Race tracks are a great place to experiment... You don't ever slide into a lane of oncoming cars.
