if its just a blown fuse, open it up and replace it. it could be lots of simple things burnt out on the board as well. get a friend whos an electrical eng and he can probably fix it easy.

amp is over 7 years old, alpine mrv 1005. from what i remember it would get hot and stop working, then work after cooling down.. then one day it got hot ,i smelled smoke and thats the last it worked...the removable fuse on the outside of the amp looks like its still ok
