PC Power and cooling is one of the best PSU brands on the market

There is also Seasonic and if you need cheaper end but still great PSU's FSP Forton Source is good as well. I would only trust reputable brands.

Good luck
thanks yeh

looking for the 80+ certified ones cause its goin to be on all the time with prolly 50% load or less.

yup, always want to look at highest efficiency so you can also save money on your power bill as well.

I have a few chepo PSU's laying around here because they came with some of the cases I bought in the past and the weight difference between a quality PSU vs a cheapo is pretty substantial.

Cheapo PSU's be it 500 watt or w/e might be able to do 500watts but for like less then a minute before it either A. Burns out or B. shuts its self off

damn are you serious.
i just bought a a64 x2 4200+ socket 939
2.2ghz @ 2.475 currently (225 fsb x 11).

had the fsb up to 240 @1.5v. temps were in the mid to low 50s, but backed it down cause its media center comp and dont want a loud fan on it.

is yours am2 or 939??

i would really like to get an opteron 185 or fx60, but the fx60 is way to expensive. they are the fastest ones you can get for 939 @ 2.6ghz

got any 92mm 45-50+ cfm with 25dba or less??

hehe yea, I actually used it a while back for science fair to make a hovercraft. I once popped them into my desktop and I am like the sounds not that bad. I could hear it almost every ware in my house, so I took em out.
