The Florida G Club is happy to announce that our Fourth Annual Lakeland Meet will be held Saturday, October 24th at 1:00pm. This is a bit earlier than we usually meet on a Saturday Meet, but it's better for the Beef O'Brady's restaurant and it should also help our chances of avoiding any possible rain in the area. We'll meet up at the restaurant at 1pm so that we have time to socialize and check out everyone's cars in the parking lot. Then we'll all go inside to eat at 2:00pm. That will also give all the people that travel a little leeway so that we can all go in to eat together.

This meet will be at the same Beef 'O' Brady's Restaurant on Route 98 in Lakeland that we went to last year. The Beef'O'Brady people are reserving the "Atrium" in the front of the restaurant for us, so there should be plenty of room for everyone. There is plenty of room to park as you can see in the picture above.

We will also be celebrating the memory of one of our good friends at the Lakeland Meet this year. LakelandKev was a good friend of the FGC, OZOC and 350Z Clubs. Kevin originally helped pick out the restaurant for the first Lakeland Meet (Don Pablos) and later the Beef O'Brady's that current Lakeland Meets are held in. Kevin passed away two years ago, but will always be remembered.



Last year we met with the Orlando Z Owner's Club (OZOC) and the 350Z Club of Florida. We had a great time and a super turnout, so why not do it again? The OZOC and 350Z clubs are invited to attend again, of course!

Boo, I can't make it because of work, and I'm taking the prior weekend off to go up to Roebling Road. Oh well.
