I work for at&t (i don't work in the stores/kiosk and our logo looks like the Deathstar from Star Wars).

One of the at&t CEO's are currently in discussion with Apple to extend the contract even further till 2011 right now.

I would recommend to see how that pans out first.

I can understand why people love the iphone so much. It's so user friendly compared to anything else (except the palm pre in my opinion) and the capacitive screen is great but the voice/data rate plans that are packaged with the phone are too expensive (can somebody scream rape?) in my opinion.

I've always been a windows mobile kind of guy. It's definitely not newb user friendly as of right now, but I can live with its quirks.

I'm waiting till next year when the windows mobile 7 or web OS phones come to at&t.

That HTC HD2 looks awesome though...i have to admit, snapdragon ftw!

adrian have you tried 6.5? i hear 6.5.1 is a little better. as much as winmo has problems, the best part about htc phones is the xda forum.

ive been getting a little bored with my diamond as i dont use it for the strengths of winmo. i think im going to switch over to the hero at xmas so i can give android a shot as it seems more finger friendly.

 

i love my iphone...no other phone is as simple yet so powerful. you can have 9 icons or you can have 99 whatever floats your boat. like i said i love this phone lol. HTCs are cool phones but for 500+$ i better know ALL the features and be using them on a daily basis (some of you may fit into this category but most dont). got mine with contract for 300$ bucks yea still kinda steep but it doubles as an ipod (i got the 32gb 3gs) and thats a nice amount of memory for music. Every carrier needs to carry the iphone lol let them compete for the plans! lol
