That happened to a buddy of mine with his Camaro a long time ago. Firestone did the same thing. It took a while for Firestone to accept liability, but they eventually paid to replace the motor without a lawyer's help.

That's the reason some oil change places apparently suck the old oil out through the dip stick, so they don't have to open the drain plug. Of course, they should still be changing the filter.

Damn sorry to hear This is EXACTLY why I change my own oil, it's a sad state of affairs when you can't trust anyone to do their job right. FWIW I always make sure my oil pressure light goes out when restarting the engine after an oil change.

Still havent been able to get them to do anything on it. Taking to Infiniti dealership today.

Did they at least give you your drain plug back?

Once we got it up on lift unfortunantely it was not just drain plug looks like skid plate was pushed up from improper lift and punctured or cracked something gonna get full diagnostic done at dealership soon as I get a ride to shop where the car is :/
