Going to be another fail meet. we should have the month planned out in advance

 

Thanks for all the negative attitudes.

I will not be able to attend tomorrow since I am having dinner with my mom and I only get to see her once a month.

If you all want to have a meet tomorrow, go ahead and plan it. I feel like no matter what gets planned, at least one person complains so I am taking a break this week. Have fun, whoever goes.

I've been busy planning this dyno day coming up on Sunday and I hope everyone can come out and show some support.

 

Once everyone pays their dues, feel free to voice your opinions on how you want the meets run.

I complain because they are usually on the east orlando side. Veronica why would anyone pay fee's for a car club that hardly functions.... its fallen apart so, either i waste forty on a jeep forum or waste money for a g one, I shouldn't have to pay to hang out with friends, it was more fun when everyone was just cool and friends now it's always about money and dues. Big deal dyno day how hard could it be to plan a time a day and place.... done the shop agrees on a fee they create depending on number of cars.

 

Thank you for stating your opinion as always, Bryce. Here is mine. It's not about money or dues. No one is forcing anyone to join the FGC. If people come to the meets and they like it and want to contribute to FGC, etc. then that is great. If people don't then that is fine as well. No hard grudges held here. Any meet or gathering I've attended in which I've met new people, I've never tried to force it down anyone's throat to join the club I'm part of. I've only stated what I typed above. The only thing I've tried to propagate with this club is a G/Z community in which we still get together to have meets/gatherings/etc. because I enjoy them. I enjoy hanging out with fellow car enthusiasts who share the same appreciation for the G and Z like I do. We're the only ones in Orlando still trying to make these meets happen. OZOC is all but gone now. Please quit constantly playing the "I shouldn't have to pay to hang out with friends" card. No one is saying that.

As far as the dyno day, I think Veronica taking her own personal time to coordinate this is a big deal and I'm extremely appreciative of her in setting this up. This is something I wanted to do for a long time now but I never could put together because I've always been sidetracked by my work (we all have lives outside of car club/meets/etc. as well). I will admit that I didn't even get the chance to help Veronica when I should have. She took matters into her own hands and made it happen expecting nothing in return.

It is very easy to say how to plan something by telling someone, "i'd just do do this and do that", but taking your own personal time out of the week while trying to be considerate of all attendees and putting an event together is an entirely different matter. It can be a f*cking pain in the @ss trying to cater to everyone. Everybody, please recognize the effort she put into this dyno day as she did this for everybody here to have fun and be a part of whether you're a member of the FGC or not. I certainly do.

That said, Bryce. I hope you don't take what I said as a personal attack. I was just giving my opinion/reply to your's. You're a great guy (no homo) and you always make me laugh when we hang out.

I think it would be best if we drop down to 1 or 2 meets per month instead of weekly meets as its not becoming feasible any longer as Veronica and I work pretty crazy hours for us to constantly plan and attend (we try our best).

After this weds. night meet. I will destroy this thread and draft something new.
