Thank you for stating your opinion as always, Bryce. Here is mine. It's not about money or dues. No one is forcing anyone to join the FGC. If people come to the meets and they like it and want to contribute to FGC, etc. then that is great. If people don't then that is fine as well. No hard grudges held here. Any meet or gathering I've attended in which I've met new people, I've never tried to force it down anyone's throat to join the club I'm part of. I've only stated what I typed above. The only thing I've tried to propagate with this club is a G/Z community in which we still get together to have meets/gatherings/etc. because I enjoy them. I enjoy hanging out with fellow car enthusiasts who share the same appreciation for the G and Z like I do. We're the only ones in Orlando still trying to make these meets happen. OZOC is all but gone now. Please quit constantly playing the "I shouldn't have to pay to hang out with friends" card. No one is saying that.
As far as the dyno day, I think Veronica taking her own personal time to coordinate this is a big deal and I'm extremely appreciative of her in setting this up. This is something I wanted to do for a long time now but I never could put together because I've always been sidetracked by my work (we all have lives outside of car club/meets/etc. as well). I will admit that I didn't even get the chance to help Veronica when I should have. She took matters into her own hands and made it happen expecting nothing in return.
It is very easy to say how to plan something by telling someone, "i'd just do do this and do that", but taking your own personal time out of the week while trying to be considerate of all attendees and putting an event together is an entirely different matter. It can be a f*cking pain in the @ss trying to cater to everyone. Everybody, please recognize the effort she put into this dyno day as she did this for everybody here to have fun and be a part of whether you're a member of the FGC or not. I certainly do.
That said, Bryce. I hope you don't take what I said as a personal attack. I was just giving my opinion/reply to your's. You're a great guy (no homo) and you always make me laugh when we hang out.
I think it would be best if we drop down to 1 or 2 meets per month instead of weekly meets as its not becoming feasible any longer as Veronica and I work pretty crazy hours for us to constantly plan and attend (we try our best).
After this weds. night meet. I will destroy this thread and draft something new.

I guess i just missed these meets ive been lookin around for. Hey all whats up my names Adi, im new to the area from NY and was looking to meet up with some G/Z peeps, i used to roll with G35nyc in NY and used to do alot of different meets from weekly's to semi annual bbq's and such...so i was kinda missing that...go figure just as I stumble onto this thread, its seems that the weeklys are dead...So if anything else starts up in the Orlando area, im game every meet unless im working

lol I just pm'd him and said the weekly meets arn't dead V so don't take offense. Last nights went great. We had a new guy DT35G who came out with his wife and they were both great people. So it just needs to be a little more planned and i believe our meets will come together great.
Yessirrrr. Im ready for the next! LOL. Hopefully ill make it Sunday. Had a great time last night. Thanks to everyone who made me and my wife feel welcome. The wings were friggin great too!
Yea, I was surprised to see such a good turnout for last night's meet. I think it's still going strong. Now we should get a monthly thing going in addition to the weekly meets. Similar to Woady's h00ters thing.
Let's pick a central location and have a weekend meet once a month. So that way it can cater to the weekly crowd and to the guys who can't do weekdays or need more advance notice.
Any ideas? Maybe Millenia? Or downtown/e colonial?
On top of that, we still have special events like V getting Bobby out to Slowboy...
The more events and meets, the more opportunities for people to come out and produce interest in the club, whether they're technically part of it or not (ie: dues)
