FGC Picture/Chat about the meet thread...
Okay guys. We want to start a discussion regarding Orlando meets. This isn't necessarily a discussion on how the meets are ran or anything like that. Afterall, those who organize these things are doing it for free. Ian and Veronica volunteer their time to get these things organized, and it's not as easy it looks. And more importantly, it's pretty time consuming, and lets face it, that's something we all could use more of.
I'm here to try and help them out (Ian and V) with deciding on the next step: Where?
The other details are being sorted out, but I would like to see what you guys suggest as locations. Right now, it is likely going to be a bi-weekly meet with weekend meets thrown in there.
The bi-weekly meet (still on Wednesdays) will be every other week and in rotating fashion. After we all decide on *SET* locations, then we can set up a monthly schedule. Then everything is set and easy to manage. So here's what has worked for us in the past...
We've been dividing up the metro area into 3 areas: Altamonte (North), Waterford (East), and Florida Mall (SW).
I'll list some places that I recall we've done in the past...
North:
Bahama Breeze/Alehouse @ the Altamonte Mall
Casselberry Buffalo Wild Wings (more North East rather than North...)
East:
Buffalo Wild Wings @ Waterford
Southwest:
Wingit @ the Florida Mall
I know there are probably other great suggestions out there. Let's hear em. But remember, this is to discuss locations so that we can decide on *SET* locations and start a month to month schedule for the bi-weekly Wednesday Orlando meets.

i agree. i was the founder for my scion meets and was no easy task to accomodate 40+ scions every wk. i find the locations are good. ive never been able to make it to one yet as my kids must be in bed by 9pm or work late. either way i would like to come out and maybe we can set up a barb-q or a softball game or something.. sounds good. we should unite and do something productive. in order to do that we must have a solid meet and discuss what we are all down to do.

thank u evil i appreciate it. i come from a long line of sponsorships, shows and dealing with high end events. not to mention marketing and promotions dept. i hope i can help as i feel i have alot to offer to this vast community of enthusiasts.. hope to set something up or meetup so i can meet all of you., thanks again, mike
We just had a big meet but Ian and I have some more stuff n the works for future big meets. In the meantime, we will continue with every other Wednesday night meets.

Lol I find it pretty cool that max automatically signs me up for meets now :-p bit yeah where is the meet tonight seeing that me and max's iPhone dreams got shut down
