Ok so i think the track is closed. I tried calling and it says "the re-opening of orlando speed world has been delayed due to cold weather, join us sunday for" etc.... so looks like they closed the strip. wtf

 

That sucks! Cold weather is the best time to run! lol

Looks like we'll have to reschedule this...

 

best for your car not for the track... OSW does not do the best track prep or if they do any at all... I went last month when we had the cold front and I spin threw 1st, 2nd chirped 3rd and 4th. and hit 13.6 at 104... if you want to get track time and improve your time go to CFRC and hit the 1/8... most of the improvements are gonna be your 0 to 60 ft times and your 1/8 times. Also it is STICKY at CFRC... they really take care of the track and prep it right... I hit a 1.9 60ft and 8.6 at 85 mph there... at OWS best is 8.9 at the 1/8... so goes to show

I might have to check out CFRC, it's only like 15mins away from me. I just wish they had the 1/4 mile. The main reason I wanted to goto OSW is because I ran there when I first got my car, so it would be a good comparision after the mods.

Haha, yea that's my brother. I was trying to get his *** to go but he just put new injectors in and couldn't get the car to idle properly.
