i was planning a meet for the same day but i will move it to the 20 just to avoid any conflicts so keep march 20 free.
actually shes not an event coordinator, shes a director which means she makes decisions that affect the club. organizing meets is something we do since no one else steps up to the task.
and for the fgc to spend $ on any meet, people actually have to give a fvck and join. since they dont, we do meets at restaurants and similar places where everyone spends their own $.

Why would anyone join if there isn't anything going on for a t-shirt and stickers? Woady the club had fallen apart in the last year and is still going down. We have wednesday meets and thats it we don't really caravan anywhere anymore and the club has just dwindled, Veronica as I stated I was not being rude or coming down on you but as a director and you talk about meets why not step up to the plate and make some arrangements. My self and others have spit a ton of different idea's if the club is falling apart then maybe it needs to restructure and or find people who have the time to maintain what the club is supposed to be.
I AM NOT SAYING that the people or directors right now are failing but.... if they are so worried about failing join rate and or meets they should be arranging something. I think everyone is great and I like to meet up and hang out but the fgc is not what it was a year ago... So as Sen said lets have a meet and make arrangements maybe then I would throw down to become a member but why am I going to pay to just hang out at a bar or restaurant when I can do that for free.

so no one puts forth any support for the club but they have plenty of complaints about it. yet you want the directors to spend their time settings great things up in the hope that people will all of a sudden want to join? we tried taking it in small steps at the last gainesville meet and the support was lackluster.

Both sides have valid points. People won't join if there's no added benefit of being a member. But without more people joining, FGC can't set up added benefits/events.

There's always a big group of people from the 350z Club of FL who go. Lots of people on other sites too, like my350, ourvq, etc.
Yea, I agree with what everyone says to a point. Ian and V aren't the only ones who can get meets together. I put together two tech days at my house already. The most recent one was basically organized by myself, although Ian did come and supported.
If you have a meet idea, then organize it. Get it going. It's not like these guys get paid to do this. I would love to see more meets and things being organized. Especially since I have less time now a days. More options would allow me to come to more things. Wednesday nights aren't an option for me right now...
As for the state of the club, that's for them to worry about. My $55 is really just a drop in the bucket, so I'm not expecting too much back. I mean, that's for an entire year. And it's probably not fair for those who aren't in it to complain about anything FGC does or does not do. If you don't think it's worth joining (and maybe it's not right now), then don't.
I'm afraid to ask for any time off since I'm the new manager. They probably plan on using and abusing me so the other managers can take time off. But I wanna go to ZDayz. Put me down as tentative. lol
