I don't like spacers because they are a pain for a reputable shop to try and work on your tires. Discount tire won't touch the vehicle if it has spacers. I had them on my volks and they were just a pain. The first drive on them we torqued em down and they came loose luckily we caught the problem before it was to late. That is the problem with them is they are one more thing that is holding your wheel on. Also they put extra stress on the wheel bearing and I had one go out on me.

actually your discount tire is just fvcking stupid. obviously they werent torqued down if they came loose. get good spacers and you have no issues. ive done 140 mph runs, 6 track days and know a few people who track with spacers and have had no issues.

No the spacer we had to put on ourselves and they were torqued down. Sorry Woady the spacers were also Ichiba and those are one of the better ones. Also I have ready so many threads that wheels bears go out due to the extra stress put on them after putting spacers on. Would you trust a washer with threads to hold you wheels on sen? I had them and did numerous high speed passes never had any issues after we re-torqued but it just didn't feel the same to me in the steering wheel.

If you're still having the problem, try PMing an Admin, or post a thread here stating the problem: https://g35driver.com/forums/discuss...ouncements-91/

I agree with you Shawn. If you can't afford aftermarket wheels, definitely get some spacers with that drop of yours. It will look 100x better once they're installed

How big were your spacers?

I never had a problem with any spacer, never had one come loose either.

Gets me thinking why yours came loose.

Did you install extended studs? Or were they V2 spacers
