*pulls out milkcrate*
I'm sick of bullcrap pricetags! This happens way too much around here.
The other day I went in a gas station to get an energy drink. The NOS 16oz cans were clearly labeled under each row: "NOS 16oz Energy Drink $1.79"
The label under the cans is a 'standard' looking price label with a bar code.
There is also a big dumb looking advertisement on the glass door that says "NOS 2 for $4"
I think to myself "uh, no thanks, I'll just have 1 for $1.79... I bet it doesn't ring up correctly"
Sure enough, I get up to the register, the guy asks if that's all, scans the bar code...
"That'll be 2.14"
"The pricetag in the cooler said 1.79"
"Well you have to add tax..."
I would like to point out that sales tax in that county is 7% and that at this point, the big display on the register for everyone to see, clearly says:
NOS ........... 2.00
TOTAL ........ 2.14
"No, it rang up $2, and then the 14 cent is tax"
"Well I don't know what to tell you, those have been ringing up that same price ever since I've worked here"
"I don't have a problem with the price. I don't mind paying the $2, but the pricetag should show the correct price, not $1.79. That's what I have a problem with"
Through the discussion, I was getting my wallet out and getting the money to pay the guy
"Well, I'll have somebody go look at it"
(as I'm paying)
"Good. Thank you"
There was a line that I didn't want to hold up, but if there hadn't been, I would have made him walk back to the cooler.
Just like I told him though, it's not the price I have a problem with, I'll pay whatever the item costs. It's when you lie about that price that I have a problem... as does the law
ok /rant

^The guy was a rednek... so yeah... most Indian gas station attendants speak much better english.
Of course, they're usually better to deal with anyway... come to think of it, I've had that very same thing happen at a gas station that's owned and opperated by Indians, and the attendant appologed for the price being wrong and fixed it.

So what do you guys think?
If you haven't seen the picture, look at the first page. But I'm probably gonna be looking at a new bumper. Unless they (Allstate adjustor) thinks they want to try and fix it, but it doesn't look fixable to me. I'm not interested in going with their shop, so where should I go?
I have no exterior mods, so probably not gonna spring for an aftermarket rear. Taking ideas, though...

Don't let them try to fix it. It will end up wavy.
Now would be the best time to do an aftermarket rear if you are ever going to, but I don't know much about the available aftermarket for the coupe rear.
