Speaker help...

My stock speaker blew, so i got new ones... Pioneer TS-G1643R.

I installed them and they have good highs and mids, but the lows (bass) sounds like laser tag noises... and im not happy.

What do you guys recommend for good speakers? Im bringing these back sometime tomorrow....

get some JL audio components or some MB quarts. But the thing is chris that if you get good speakers you cant just plug them in and listen you have to wire them to an amp most likely a 4 channel.

I just want a good overall speaker like the stock ones, then I'll get an amp to make them sound better. I don't have the money for all of this right now though...

The stock ones aren't 'overall good speakers'

I have Infinity Reference speakers front and back (6022i and 5022i)
They are much cleaner than stock even on the stock amp, but don't have as much bass, but the OEM system is too much bass anyway.

Ideally, you really need a set of components on a 4 channel amp and a sub.

My very first system set up was with infinity components front (and 2-way rears). They make really good stuff. Later, I got JL Components and Coaxs, which were amazing. But I also had 400W going to them, too.

I got a set of kickers which sound decent right now. Going to get a 5 channel amp to power the speakers and a sub.... I gotta get a nice little system picked out though.... I'm looking to do it on the cheaper end, but I want to do it right.
