since there are a lot of people coming to this ... and im sure half will bail out ... what we need to do is make a whole new thread of this meet ... where ... what time ... date ... map of place... and i REAL list of people coming to this event and next to your name say what you will be bringing to this cook out we have ... i lovez33 you want to set this thread up or you want me to do this

my only concern is that this place has to be speed bump friendly cause i will NOT make it over a bump ... nor a few others that i know

I agree snoop i was waiting until we had enough intrest before i make a new thread. What I want someone to do whos familiar with the clearwater area to find a spot that will fit our cars and be speed bump friendly with our cars... Since I live in orlando its kind of hard but yeah.

i know sand key in clearwater, just south of the main beach has a big lot. fort desoto has alot od parking lots/grass area, had a meet down there with the 3SX club when I had my vr4. check out this map http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/ParkMap_v2.htm another idea for the meet is to schedule a cruise at the end into the tampa area? i know hwy 60 from tampa into clearwater on the weekend gets real bad, but coming from the south up into clearwater isnt as bad.

^^ awesome input josh !! so we have a list of giant parks ..... i know another guy in here mentioned sand key that is a thought ... we just need to do some research on these parks around and see what all they have to offer

if you can go to the link josh provided above and click on some of the green circles and they show you pictures of the park ... lets see if we can find a good place

i know Philippe Park is a great park to go to .. right on the water . overhead areas for bbq's and other fun things to do there .... any takers for that ... and its a giant park and very very clean

this is a diagram of the park ...
http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/m...s/PHILIPPE.pdf <-- total of 9 shelters and grills there

or we can go to a shelter 1st come 1st serve ... you pick

another option is if we choose a park i will call and see if we can reserve a shelter and grill but everyone going will have to throw in on this .. im not to sure how much it would cost but not to much i would think

chris i think most county park shelters are first come first serve, but i may be wrong. i know when we did fort desoto we had someone setup early.
