1) Loosen front lugs
2) Jack front of car up on stands (standard safety measures applied)
3) Remove both front wheels
4) Put on spacers and tighten (80ftlbs I think, but I never measure). This is where you'll need someone on the foot brake
5) Put wheels back on and either tighten while in the air (with foot brake), or finish tightening when on the ground
6) Enjoy!
If you don't have one, you'll need a 22mm deep socket (with breaker bar or giant ratchet) and extension. The factory lug wrench won't work for tightening spacer lugnuts. It probably won't fit...
Oh, and you'll need a floor jack and jack stands, of course...

Last time I was at the mechanic, they suggested that my battery was starting to go, anyways. And it certainly is. It's become more and more sluggish to start.

Take off my alternator? Well, I'll probably be happy as long as the voltage is in proper range. I'm gonna inspect my belts tomorrow, too. It seems like one thing after another with this whole "maintenance" thing, lol...

You could just take that in for bench testing... it's only like 10,000 times easier to get off than the alternator
