ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT BATTERY COVERAGE
The coverage period is 48 months or 60,000 miles,
whichever comes first. A defective original equip-
ment battery which is unserviceable within the first 12
months and 60,000 miles will be replaced free of
charge. After 12 months but within 24 months and
60,000 miles, you will pay 25% of the replacement
battery’s suggested retail price plus applicable taxes.
After 24 months but within 36 months and 60,000
miles, you will pay 50% of the replacement battery’s
suggested retail price plus applicable taxes. After 36
months but within 48 months and 60,000 miles, you
will pay 75% of the replacement battery’s suggested
retail price plus applicable taxes. Nissan will pay the
rest, including all labor to remove and replace the
defective battery.
Did you pay a partial for replacement?

I'm still rocking the OE battery. At Christmas time I tested it and it was at like 619cca. We sell interstate here too but I hate them.

Chris if you want to give the studs a try I can help. Gonna need a good hammer to get the things out. It is a bit of PITA but you hammer them out then you use the double bolt technique to put them back in. Its not rocket surgery but it is a bit labor intensive. I paid a friend $50 to do it. I watched, or I mean assisted..lol
