With all due respect, man, it's way out of line to say Customer Service SUCKS when you're upset about the way a Dyno graph looks. All a dyno does is calculate numbers. We don't control it. If it didn't make the power, it didn't make the power. We didn't work on the car, you did. I've been in this business a VERY long time and I've NEVER seen a shop like we have here at S&R where they let you work on your car on OUR dyno and not charge you for a thing but the dyno time itself.

I was there that day and you were very friendly about everything and didn't have a complaint in the world and then because of some dyno graph issue, we suck? We build more Z/G cars than ANYONE in the region. I came to S&R because of the PRAISE that this company had always received for it's service and i see it every single day when Bobby bends over backwards to make sure people are happy.

Just my $.02. It's unfortunate that things went this way.

I would suggest you ask around to the TONS of people within the area that come to us every single day for everything from motor builds to oil changes. We are THE Z/G Shop in the region and there is a reason for that. I personally talk to people every single day that would rather wait for us than take their cars anywhere else. No one knows these cars like our staff.

There is a reason that over 100 people come out to our poker runs, a reason why we get over 70 calls a day, a reason why Bobby and I spend all day working hand and hand with everyone that will allow us the opportunity. We're the good guys.

It's the same graph that we send everyone, that I use to post in our advertisements and in follow ups with builds. Unfortunately, they don't seem to work for what he needs them for.

As I mentioned above. We are the quality shop. Our name speaks for itself. I hope you give us a fair shot to show you sometime.

Thank you for coming to the forum and offering a rebuttal. You were recommended by quite a few folks on a number of forums.

2) I gave you the graphs on a windows fax file that I have been sending for the last 4 years and you are the first one to have a problem. In fact I have sent out about 1200 graphs.

3) I gave you a graph with the over lays from the first to last explaining in detail what each line means

4) The Guy with the NOS kit was home made and we had to fix it on the Dyno and he didn't get charged for it. keep in mind his car before Nos only made 240 hp.

5) I sent you the run files and told you to download the software from the Dyno Co. i also told you if you need help to contact the Dyno co. I was unaware that you needed the raw file and in fact I never send anybody this type of file. So i learn something new myself.

6) Sharf charges way more than 650. In the beginning we charged 500 as a promotional.

I dont know why your car didn't make power? maybe you installed it wrong, creating a vacuum leak. It sure is funny how the car before you (272hp) came out fine. The G37 we tune made 315hp, So maybe its you. For the record I told you I was running behind that day and you were ok with that.

Marti,

I am Absolutely open to working with you. I appreciate input from everyone, both good and bad, then formulate my decision on whether I will do business.

To me anyway, it speaks volumes that you would spend your time on this forum to offer a counter to the comments. I thank you for that.

Thanks again,
Allan

i have been bringing my car to S&R for a little while now. i personally have not had bad costomer service there. they work very hard there none stop almost 7 days a week there just to make people happy and get thier cars done. i would recomend S&R to ANYONE thats needs things done ... as mentioned above they will bend over backwards for you and help you out with anything ... i just cant believe all the bashing going on in here started just because a dyno paper was not emailed correctly many many G/Z's go to the shop there and i have yet heard anything bad from them. im on like 10 fourms around the area and not heard one thing bad. im sure they have problems every now and then, but who doesn't ... i say we just end all this and continue on...

ps. i forgot to say , but this week i heard they were having sick *** deals.. im going to head up there friday and see what i can get :-) so give them a shout and find out

OOOOOOOO and see you guys this weekend at winghouse !!!!!!!

So let me see if I can get all of this straight.

98intrigue scheduled a tune with S&R. 98intrigue showed up to S&R without his mods installed and asked the shop to allow him to install the parts himself, in S&R's shop, and S&R even gave him the tools to do so.

After the parts were installed, he got his tune. 98intrigue car did not make the power that he expected. At any rate, 98intrigue asked for the dyno charts which Bobby provided as he does every customer but 98intrigue wanted more than that. So in tern, Bobby spent how much time trying to get the customer data that NO other customer has EVER asked for.

On top of this I see that your tune was $650.00 right?

Ok, so here is how I see it.

1. 98intrigue, you showed up to S&R without your **** installed and asked the shop to take on liability so you could save some money by installing the parts yourself. S&R made an exception for you because, as you will see at the end of this, S&R is, without a doubt, the most generous and honest shop around.

2. Your car did not make the power you expected. Who's does???? I would definately, 100% contribute this to something put on/not put on right by 98intrigue

3. You asked for Dyno information that the shop has never given to anyone. It seems as though it was something they have never had to figure out how to print out for anyone. So S&R went completely out of there way, 9 times?, to get you what you wanted. I know my time is money and the same goes for them so how much do you think they wasted trying to please you.

4. If you think $650.00 for an initial tune is high, think again, especially when you are using OSIRIS. I paid $850 for mine!

Let me give you a little info about what I know about S&R and why we, GamerModz, chose them to build our 2008 NISMO Time Attack car.

You think you are going to find good information about a company in a forum? Your out of your mind. People that have problems post in forums, people that don't have problems never post because they are happy and they go about their day.

S&R came highly recommended for our project and upon meeting with Bobby, I found Taylor working there. Bobby has 2 extremely good qualities I look for in any company and personal relationship. First he goes out of his way to help you and will be 100% honest the entire time. The second is that he has the drive to get things done.

Now on to Taylor. Taylor was a good friend of mine 10 years ago and we kind of lost touch as close friends. Over this 10 years we hadn't heard from one another, Taylor has become one of the best mechanics in the US. There really isn't anything he doesn't know or can't do.

With all this being said, believe me when I tell you, I would NOT have had anyone else do our $130,000.00 build other than S&R.

As a business owner myself, I can see exactly what went on in this situation and know Bobby feels betrayed. He took risks by letting the customer work on their own car in the shop, then went out of his way to provide documentation that is not standard, all to get bashed for it.

It's just sad to see bad information given to the public that is looking for a reputable shop to take their car to where they can be confident they won't get screwed over.

98intrigue, I have to say, this was wrong of you. You should have posted your entire experience, not just that you didn't get the dyno information that was different than the other 90% of the world.

It is aparent that you are a customer that is never satisfied and instead of being honest about a situation, you only post, what you concider to be, the wrong doings. You realize by doing this you could end up pushing a customer to a different shop where they may get screwed over all because you were trying to be an a$$hole.

You weren't looking out for other peers, you were trying to get even because YOU think YOU were screwed over when you weren't.

This is my opinion and I stand behind it and S&R 110%

^^ Very well said Colin.

I too agree with the positive feedback about S&R. Sure shops have issues from time to time, show me a shop that doesn't. However, Bobby and Jeff go above and beyond to make the customer satisfied.

I've been using S&R for 2.5 years and they meet all of my needs, answer my 1 million questions, and provide great products. Bobby has taken care of my car after closing the shop sometimes.

98intrigue, you seem disgruntled by a dyno file. To bash a shop that bent over backwards to allow you to work on your car in the shop seems a bit harsh, after all you did get a dyno. The shop isn't responsible for making your car have better horsepower.

bad customer service? really? i have never had one problem getting hold of bobby, jeff, taylor, diego, mike or marti. bobby has gotten calls from me while he's been at dinner with his wife and left his wife at the restaurant to help me out.(let's leave this one alone)

i've been with S&R for almost 3 years now and would never think to go any other place!

i went with S&R because of bobby! any issues that i've had since my engine build/TT have been taken care of without question! they stand behind what they do.

TRUST is the key word for me.

S&R got 290whp out of my 350Z. That's with exhaust, HFC's, intake, and tune. I'm happy with them, in everything they have done for me.
