I got a set from eBay for 60 dollars just used one had it on for six months now still no prob but u have to remove the whole arm so u can get the new ones pressed in. Do u have aftermarket sways cause I had the clunking and it was my sway endlinks but I have aftermarket sways also check the lower control arm where it connects to the sub frame and make sure the bushings isn't broken either.

thanx cwhealon... i already replaced those bushing on the lower cntrl arm with whiteline bushings and i dont have aftermarket sways. ill prolly buy new endlinks as well as these ball joints and do it all at once just to play it safe.

did you do install yourself or did you pay for some1 to do it? if u did pay how much?

ill eventually get aftrmarkey sways, thats my next mod!

thanx agin cwhealon and max.

If u don't have aftermarkt sways u prob won't need to replace the endlinks unless u have a crap load of miles on ur g. I did all the work myself but took the spindles to on of my dealerships I do work for and had one of the techs press the balljoint out and press the new one in cost me 20 bucks a side and that's just cause I have done work for him in the past. If u know how to work on cars pull it all out ur self and just have someone press the new ones in going to be alot cheaper

hey I probably here the same clunk as you do... braking & going over speedbumps. I checked out the thread on 350z and seems legit... did it resolve your problem?

My noise is so loud I feel it sometimes in the brake pedal :/

To be totally honest it did not help with "clunk" that I was getting from front end. Turns out my motor mounts were loose and the engine was bouncing around from side to side.
Not even Orlando Infiniti could figure it out and I went there twice and explained the noise in detail! When I pulled my original(oem) ball joints they were pretty well greased as they leaked a hell of alot of grease when I pressed them to get them off, so I dont think they were really contibuting to my issue at all.

so in summary... I misdiagnosed my "clunk" and now have new ball joints...FTW!!!

and check you motor mounts b4 you spend any more $$$
