actually it depends on outside temps and how hot your car is.

Well yea, if its 90F outside then it would be faster to recirculate, but if its cooler out then it would be faster. Common sense eh?

People have problem with mold building up if you keep it on recirculate all the time. Auto usually keeps it good.
