well it went in about 5 steps...

springs never rubbed.
got coils and lowered car, didnt rub.
alignment took out 1/2 degree of negative camber and started rubbing.
trimmed fender liner and still rubbed.
so now trimmed tab and that should fix it.

i dont have my own jack and stands so i go to 1 of my 240 buddies shops when hes free so i also depend on his schedule.

as for xbox, dont care.

in other news i just had the tabs that connect my rear bumper to the fender trimmed to stop my rear tires from rubbing. seems like it worked so far.

I sold it for $650. I bought new gaskets and bolts for $20. I paid $30 to have the cut h-pip welded. I installed the exhaust for him, but the welded pipe was still an inch short. So he gave me $580 and then would give me whatever else was leftover after the price he paid to get the exhaust fitted. Well, apparently they had problems with it and charged him 2 of labor. So $580-$30-$20=$530 net profit. It wasn't the buyers fault and it wasn't my fault. Just a crappy situation.

I have H&R springs. My friend installed them, but blew both front shocks during the install. So I bought 2 front shocks and installed them myself. I know I didn't blow them....but the ride still feels very light. Everytime I take a bump in the road, the car bounces around. I HATE it!

My 2 rear tires had considerable amount of negative camber wear. I must of rn over a nail and the tire went flat. There was no point in patching a bald tire. So I just ordered 2 Nitto Invo 305/30/19s for $550. As soon as they come in, I'm taking my car to get the tires mounted and getting my car aligned. Another ****ty thing is I can install my SPC camber arms/toe bolts myself, but can't get the bolts to break for the life of me! So here's another $100 in labor, even though it's literally 4 bolts total to take out.

And my xbox...that's he only thing that has been keeping me sane since I can't afford to leave my house, haha. So it's a big deal to me!

$530 is still a nice profit. learn how to install springs and did you buy the right shocks? buy cheaper tires like hankook v12s.

Yeah, $530 is $530...but I should have made $700.

I know how to install springs now...I replaced my front shocks, which requires removing the springs. I'm glad I learned how to do it on my own. It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be. The biggest bitch was borrowing the cheap *** spring compressors from Advanced Auto.

Yes, I bought OEM front L & R shocks.

I thought about the Ventus, but I don't want to have mismatching tires...I'm a perfectionist like that.
