I've NEVER had luck with body shops. Even when I paid a Premium!! (I had a car in the paint shop for almost a year!) What's up with freakin paint guys? lol

The two tone is interesting, but personally...instead of going half silver and half black, I would've met in the middle and painted the whole car a dark metallic gun metal or black with a metallic pearl. Also, If I had a carbon fiber hood and trunk, I would still paint it to match the car. Weight savings is great, but having mismatched body panels is meh.

I'm not trying to rag on your car, just sharing my opinion. I hope they are able to match the vision in your head. Best of luck with your project! We've all been there.

Saw this online and made me think of your car...

Sorry that they are taking this long, did they have a lot of body work to do? Was the car straight and it was just a 2 tone paint, buff and re-assemble.

Very little body work but they did remove everything they could and painted separately.

Not bad goes well with the theme.

In all honesty they had better threw you a LIFE TIME WARRANTY on the paint for waiting so long.

Not a hater, But two tone only look good on (some) American Muscle cars. The only two tone you should ever do on the G is the roof. By doing this paint job kills the shape of the car.
