Perhaps. I am only going to be the one to show up if I have something to gain or loose. I just get so tired of seeing these threads end the same way every time. Bad guy always gets away.

I know the feeling, but you dont need to call out the people giving advice. Theres only so much you can do without knowing who the guy is. Sure i would be mad. I have been scammed for over 3k on a streetbike. The scammer knew what he was doing though and I was $hit out of luck. I chalked it up to lesson learned. Believe me I used to have your mentality. Its just not worth it in the long run you will do more time and pay more getting caught up in that. Like i said you dont know what the other person is capable of or who they know. I carry concealed all the time and I even realize if i can do it someone else can do the same.

So then don't beat the guy up.
Jax people get together, find the guys car, jack the wheels, and ship them to the guy in Jersey that owns them.

Leave the douchebag's car on blocks... or better yet, just set it down on the bottom of the rotors so it's a real pain to get wheels back on

They dont know who it is. Noone could ever confirm it was him or where he lived. The best thing at this point is to chargeback and move on. Maybe someone can get his IP and put him on blast on other forums.

Which btw mods why is this guy still a member on the site with full access to do it to others after all that was said?

Bottom line the cops are already involved, the "paper" trail exists, there's definitely motive and several suspects, mainly the OP. For all we know this thread could have been duplicated by now, we don't know who's on here or who has seen it.

I agree that this should have been settled face to face as long as the situation was handled intelligently. Even though some of us are more then capable of doing anything, not everyone is like that.

And people drove by with no luck more then once. Could have just been a picture of a car that the scammer took.

Then you go and jack a guy for his rims and mess his car up and its not even the scammer. Then your now the bad guy and some innocent person gets his $hit jacked.

I'm refering to the cops knowing about the OP. If anything mysterious were to happen to the scammer, who do you think they would come looking for first?

Then again, knowbody knows who the scammer is so it doesn't matter anyways.

This is why some forums don't allow people to post classifieds until a certain amount of posts or criteria has been met... Forums should be a safer environment to buy things compared to eBay and other sites dedicated to selling items...
If a scammer needs to work harder to complete their scam they will just move on to the next forum...

No need for violence there is already plenty of that in the world... the only way I would justify violence is personal defense and helping people that cannot defend themselves (children).

It sucks to get scammed but like previously stated ... lesson learned... My online buying practice ask a buddy to look at the PM's too see if anything sounds fishy. A second set of eyes is all that's needed sometimes.

only 1 losing anything in this is the op's cc company. it sucks but it is what it is. both sides are on the right track but the TRUE way to get back at this guy is to call him out in person. not with violence but all the evidence and present it to his family/work/etc.

Why dont the Jax folks set up a meet ( in his area) to see if he shows. Then roll him.

i organize a monthly lunch and he has never shown. plus there arent many hills around here so rolling him would require a lot of effort.
