Yeah Chris, I'm fine on hardware.
It came with some, but I had already ordered the longer bolts knowing I would get a spacer at some point.

Oh, 'bout a 1/16 inch

AFAIK, the MD and PL are extremely similar. The 1/2 is a little different in terms of shifting the power band, but you're talking 3/16 larger vs 1/16.

heard about the powerband shift, but I've been in the market for a motordyne 5/16th but have been wondering if it's worth it or to go a different route.

i haven't really heard bad thing about any of the plenum spacers out there... you get the very few people that will bash on every spacer but when 10000's of people say good things about them then there all good IMO... the plenum spacer is not a ware and tear part. some come with gaskets and all hardware and some don't. MD is the most popular cause they have iso thermal, iso copper, basic etc which is good for everyone living in different places . i never really looked into the powerlab spacers but I'm sure they are just as good as the other ones and since they make great FI kits that the spacer will be just as good

and as far as the installation, if you can change a tire and put a intake filter on you car then you can easily install a plenum spacer without any problems but make sure you don't over tighten any of the screws and should follow the torque specs
